Large-volume cylinder from EGIG Performance in grey cast iron for the Vespa Smallframe models. EGIG Performance goes unusual ways with the 170cc tuning cylinder. To fit the 170cc on a Smallframe engine, only a special shaft with a 115mm connecting rod is needed.

The kit should be torque-strong, suitable for everyday use and affordable. It is also almost “plug and play”. 99% – p&p This means that everything can be installed without milling work, completely without any special tools. The dust protection lip of the flywheel casing on the cylinder sealing surface must be sawn off to a height of 2mm.With the Evo engine block it is 100% – p&p. Provided that the crankshaft with a connecting rod length of 115mm has been installed. Due to the one-piece exhaust and its transfer ports layout in combination with relatively much capacity, for a SF, the cylinder is a real torque beast. Even with an original gearbox (without short 4th gear) and 2.46 primary, accelerating through 35 – 135+km/h without a power hole is no problem. This was tested in combination with the EGIG Superbanana Sport. Technical features:
