The original modern Vespa injection engines (Quasar i.e. / Leader i.e.) are more powerful in design than they actually are on the road. Stricter and stricter emission laws simply mean that the power that is there is strangled by the injection software. has looked into this problem and now offers a simple, flexible and specific solution that unleashes the full potential of the vehicles, the CHIP SYSTEM. Other than alternative modules the injection module does not plug in somewhere but directly addresses the original ECU. The original mapping is saved on the CHIP and then a tuning mapping is flashed to the ECU. The list of mappings for different engine setups is continuously added to by us. Check our website to find a selection of mappings available at present. If you should ever want to go back to the original mapping simply plug the CHIP into the service plug, choose original mapping, flash it onto the CPU, job done! Ready for MOT! When first connecting the CHIP module will be code connected specifically to the vehicle. Maps supplied can thus only be used on this module. You do have a second license though to use your module on a different scooter. Should you require further licenses you will have to send the module back to us. For the operating of the CHIP Module you need the CHIP Software. Once you have this, you can add tuning maps to your CHIP module. Download information” on the article detail website. (only available for Windows systems) The first mapping (free of charge), or further mappings (to be purchased) will be send by Email. After the initial hooking up of the CHIP module, a successful vehicle encoding and the installation of the CHIP software you have to Email your URS file, together with your vehicle details to
(support@sip-scootershop.com).
You will then receive your individual mapping. You then upload this via the software to your module, then flash it to the ECU. That
s it! For all models listed we have tuning-maps for the Original Cylinder. We are preparing maps for tuning kits as well. Depending on the version of the vehicle the power you gain will vary. The best result may be expected from the
EURO4 models
. On these power will go up by 15% with a massive torque increases of around 20%. Even though it
s not quite as much as that on the EURO3 engines it nevertheless is a worthwhile improvement. Throttle response is much improved and the engine reaches top speed quicker. Injection module CHIP featuresIncludes module with connecting wire and software, 1x specific mapping, free of charge, 2 vehicle licenses, reading out and resetting error codes, resetting service warnings, CO trimming, TPS reset, raising of rev limiter cut off rpm. No slowing down of signals as often is the case with in between modules, easy switch between tuning and original mapping.

We recommend the sports variator MALOSSI MULTIVAR. If you want more torque still we recommend the sports converter MALOSSI TORQUE DRIVE.
