The clutch bush and thrust washer ensure that the inner and outer parts of the clutch can rotate against each other when the clutch is actuated. In the case of the-BFA and the Superstrong clutch, the thrust washers can be interchanged, but are not compatible with other clutches. The bushes are identical in shape and size to standard PX clutches.
