Grade A – perfect repair Product description
A new cylinder is not always the solution when your cylinder has several thousand kilometers usage. Get your compression back up where it belongs by replacing piston rings or pistons instead of burdening yourself with major repairs. Our warehouse is full of original and tuning parts and replacement parts like pistons, piston rings, cir clips, piston pins and gasket sets. Many Lambretta pistons are available with two separate piston heights, either 39mm or 30mm. Apart from the TV 175, all common Lambretta models are fitted with a crankshaft including a 107mm con-rod. These require a piston with a compression height of 39mm. The con-rod found in the TV 175 motor however is 116mm long. Many tuning crankshafts make use of the same length of con-rod, in an attempt to provide a smoother running motor. The extra 9mm con-rod length can be compensated for by also fitting a piston with a 30mm compression height.
