The rear brake cable assembly requires constant use during everyday riding, which leads to it wearing and ageing relatively quickly. This erosion means they become porous, allowing corrosion, which leads to their failure. To prevent this occurring they should be checked regularly and when necessary, quickly replaced. We have replacement cable assemblies available, in OEM quality, complete as sets and ready to be installed. Do not forget to order fresh cable adjustment screws, fixing nuts, bolts and washers when replacing the rear brake cable.
