TUNING RACE – for professionals Product description
six-petal reed-valve manifold suitable for the ‘Slave’ Vespa largeframe engine casings from PINASCO.

A reed-valve manifold with a large six-petal reed-valve, for use with the PINASCO largeframe engine casings, from! The larger internal cross-section of the six-petal reed-valves enables the full potential of the larger capacity tuning cylinders to be properly exploited.
38mm inlet diameter, suitable for the VHS 34-39, TMX 38 and PWK 38 carburettors.
Compatible with 30-38mm internal-diameter connection rubbers (60/70mm fixing hole spacing).
Made in Germany, CNC machined from solid billet aluminium.
This manifold suits both the PINASCO produced ‘Slave’ Vespa PX and T5 engine casings and their ‘Big-bore’ engine casings for the T5, including a PX200 piston stroke. The manifold itself has an upper and lower section, three gaskets and all necessary mounting bolts and washers are included in the kit. To connect a carburettor, connection rubbers with a mounting hole spacing of between 60 and 65mm (Mikuni, Dell’Orto – #22301850, #22301810, #22301800) are required. Compatible reed-valves include the original ROTAX reeds and also other tuning types, such as the version produced by V-Force. We recommend the Italkit ‘Doble Prisma’ (#27429100). Further six-petal reed-valves with other fixing hole spacings can usually also be adapted to fit successfully. The internal inlet opening diameter is 38mm. The upper section of the manifold can be rotated on the lower section by 10, allowing fine adjustment of the carburettors final position.

The delivery includes:

Includes all the necessary fixing materials and gaskets, but no connection rubber or reed-valve block.

Attention
: Check the positioning of the carburettor in relation to the scooters chassis before use! Due to the size of the manifold there could be clearance problems on certain scooter models. In some cases this manifold cannot be properly fitted without modifying the scooter chassis!
