The strengthened
‘Multispline’ drive shaft
from
CasaPerformance
replaces the original conus brake drum fixing and is equipped with multiple splining making its combination with the ‘Octopus’ brake drum essential. In addition to the use of a heat tempered metal in its production, the threading has been enlarged from 16mm to 18mm making shearing of the shaft virtually impossible.
This drive shaft is compatible with all common Lambretta gearbox types and now the conus fixing is gone the manufacturers recommend the nut should be tightened to a torque value of 115Nm!
