needle bearing
Product description
The
main output shaft bearing
has extremely tough demands placed upon it. Over time the mechanical play or tolerance within the bearing increase. This can lead to your back wheel beginning to wobble.
We only stock bearings of the highest grades and quality. Normally C3 and C4 grade bearings are sufficient for use on the output shaft/ rear wheel position. Some people swear by the even more precise CN bearings. This helps decrease the play at the rear wheel. Vintage “wide frame” VESPAs have both, internal and external bearings on the rear wheel side of the output shaft.
The use of a bearing extractor (Art.-Nr.21467000) makes this job child’s play. Do not forget to order gear box oil and engine shaft oil seals. While you are at it, why not also change the brake shoes
