The sport sintered pads are ideal for use with road-going vehicles due to their very short bedding-in period, which incidentally also makes them perfect for use in race machines! This particular type of brake pad frictional mixture is especially relevant during everyday traffic situations, as they remain reliably effective in wet weather conditions.

If you wish to use these callipers under tougher racing conditions it is advised that they are equipped with the OTTOPUNTOUNO ceramic

Constant brake performance
No glazing.

This special brake pad frictional material mixture consists of a sintered metal with a proportion of a ceramic material. This has the advantage that, even when exposed to extremely high temperatures during use, the performance of the braking system remains constant and reliable. Typical glazing of the pads does not occur, making them attractive for race use. One slight drawback is their relatively long running-in interval to bring them up to their ideal service temperature. For this important reason, we can only recommend their use by racers on professional, official race circuits
