Mixer Tube DELL’ORTO BE1
SPREAD THE LOVE
Description
Product description
The
mixer tube
which is located in the middle of the jet block between the main jet and the main correction jet is responsible for regulating the mix in the partial load or half throttle range (1/4 to 3/4 opened throttle slide) In this context, it mixes the air in the main correction jet with the petrol from the main jet. The different mixer tubes which are fitted as standard to the largeframe models are interchangeable. This means it is possible to alleviate a pinking in the excessively lean partial load area through a richer mixer tube. The better the main jet, mixer tube
and main air correction jet suit each other, the more perfectly the engine runs. The same applies to the main correction jet as to the mixer tube: The greater the stated number, the leaner the mixer tube. This means BE1 is very rich but BE6 is very lean.Unfortunately, some mixing tubes are no longer available in the original. Because of this reason, KOSO produce our own BE2 mixing tubes with branding in high quality and low tolerance.
Conclusion:
Superb/DELL
ORTO quality. Indispensable for an optimum carburettor tuning in the partial load range.
SIP-TIP: The best idea is to order a main air correction jet that matches the mixer tube at the same time. For the SI D/H/E carburettor, e.g.
160 with BE3,
140-160 with BE5,
190 with BE4. Play with the different main jets as well.
