The airbox for the original carburettor casing. Even the largest carburettor is of no use if it cannot draw in enough air in a PX engine. The airboxes for SI carburettor casings provide a remedy here, as their significantly larger volume provides the engine with a good 20% more air than the original carburettor casing cover. The engine responds much better, especially in the lower rev range.
