This cable-tie lock from HIPLOCK is available in two main varieties: The ‘Z-LOK COMBO’ as a single combination lock or the more basic ‘Z-LOK’ as a pair with two docking keys included.
The Z-LOK COMBO uses a convincingly well thought out locking technology. The lock can be opened and closed following the individual setting of a three number combination code, which can be adjusted according to requirements.
The Z-LOK however is operated by using one of the docking keys included in the delivery. The safety level appears slightly lower with this more basic design and should not be relied upon to secure any scooters, bikes or other vehicles. They are though ideal to keep items such as helmets in place when your vehicle is left unattended in front of the ice parlour or supermarket.
Both of these safety locks are ideally suited for universal transport and fit unobtrusively in any trouser pocket, backpack or toolbox/glove compartment with ease due to their unique form and construction.
