34mm single-tube Db-killer suiting the AKRAPOVIC 2020 race exhaust for the Vespa GTS.
The original design of the Akrapovic Db-killer for their Vespa GTS race exhaust, with its two small end-pipes, leaves a lot to be desired. This one-tube Db-killer rightfully restores its mighty appearance and, as should be expected of a performance pipe, also provides a more voluminous, bassy sound! It is produced using high quality, glass-bead blasted stainless steel.

To complete this Db-killer upgrade, a 14mm hole requires drilling into the carbon fibre silencer end-cap to access the bolts that hold it in position. This opening can then be resealed, following the upgrade, using the original Akrapovic rubber bung (part no AKRA0014). Alternatively the whole silencer end-cap must be removed to replace the Db-killer and then riveted back in place. A bolt to hold the new Db-killer in position is also included in the delivery.
ATTENTION: Once the original Db-killer has been removed the exhaust loses its EC certification for legal road use!

Our-TIP:
To prevent corrosion and simplify later removal lubricate the Db-killer before attachment with a coating of copper exhaust paste (part no AKRA0006 or 30100000).
The hole drilled can be concealed using the Akrapovic rubber bung (part no AKRA0014).
