For the DRT carburettors, original DELL’ORTO carburettors are converted by Denis Innocente. The “T7” version is fitted with a bigger valve in the float chamber cover and a float needle with a diameter of 5.2mm. In addition, the supply hole in the carburettor is drilled out from 1.5mm to 1.8mm (PX177) or 2.0mm (PX200). These modifications solve the problem of pinking/knocking under full load which in the worst case scenario will result in a piston seizure. The carburettors are available in four versions. For all high performance largeframes with 177cc and for ;208cc, etc. tuning setups. Additional we have now 2 versions with our own throttle slide 4.0 available! The jets should be adjusted accordingly at the same time.
Conclusion
: A great upgrade for everyone who wants to make their performance optimised largeframe more solid at full throttle.
The optimum upgrade in combination with the Pro series float chamber spacer (part no 92260000) and the POLINI Venturi intake funnel (part no 20301520).
