Product description
A very strong high end clutch developed on the race track, for Vespa smallframe models.

The
SPS clutch
from
PLC
for the Vespa smallframe is the first available, that completely reappraises the whole concept and reconceives every single component from new.

This four-plate clutch is based on the renowned original PIAGGIO PK XL2 clutch type. Highlights include a CNC machined clutch base plate with twelve integrated spring seats and the massive aluminium cover plate, which is also CNC machined. It is also equipped with modified carbon fibre separation plates and aluminium friction plates. The inner basket is also made from aluminium, connected to the output shaft using a steel centre for stability. The pressure plate has been replaced by a suitably dimensioned ball bearing mechanism located in the upper cover plate.

A clutch holder and compressor are included in the delivery.

Conclusion:
A well-conceived clutch system, enabling top performance to be delivered to the rear wheel and not be lost slipping the clutch!

Do not forget to soak the friction plates in gearbox oil for at least two hours before assembly.
