Product description
A reinforced clutch including an innovative spring technology, for Vespa smallframe models fitted with a central-spring type. This wave spring is a new spring type, constructed using high precision manufacturing technology. This spring can guarantee an especially even spread of force on the friction plates and can exert up to 200kg of pressure due to its honeycombed, wave structure.

Two stages of expansion.
The standard wave spring, from POLINI, is set up for 80kg of pressure. This pressure rate can be adjusted, using the special spacers included in the delivery. This spring is perfectly located in a centralising seating on the clutch hub. The hub and also the clutch separation plates are constructed using nitrated steel. They are then finished to perfection using a material that raises their frictional co-efficiency, improving their grip under load. FOR RACE: The FOR RACE clutch is equipped with four cork surfaced friction plates (thickness 1.9mm) and three plated steel separation plates (1.0mm). This version is recommended for OE engines and mild road tuned set ups up to around 15PS. Four friction plate clutch including a wave spring
EVOLUTION: The EVOLUTION clutch is equipped with four sinter-metal surfaced friction plates (thickness 1.9mm) and three plated steel separation plates (1.0mm). This version is recommended for more powerful set ups, producing over 15PS.

TIP:
The clutch-compressor tool makes plate replacement with a mounted clutch much easier.
Make sure to use a pushrod in perfect condition.
Also check and/or replace the clutch pressure plate if necessary.
