The
‘Mammoth’ cylinder heads
for Lambretta motors, produced by
AF Rayspeed
, have a noticeably larger circumference than the original items. This feature provides a noticeably larger cooling surface area and a more efficient heat transfer. They also include extra fins on the underside and a number of openings to improve the airflow across its surface. A special threaded hole is also featured to facilitate the fitting of a/KOSO temperature sensor. They have a compression ratio of 10:1 with a 1.2mm squish band tolerance and original stoke measurement.
The larger circumference of these cylinder heads makes a larger cylinder cowling essential.
