The engine casing covers supplied with the later Lambretta series are theoretically compatible with all engines from the series I C III models. It should be considered that the clutch push-rod on the DL/GP models differs slightly from the Lambretta norm by being a little more modern and reliable. It is similar in function and design to that of the largeframe Vespa engines and requires a suitable clutch pressure plate to match. The covers on the series I & II models are differently constructed around the kickstarter shaft on earlier types and the exhaust fixings can also vary.
