The fact that the wind whistles around your ears is what makes riding a scooter so appealing to many. However, if you often ride in bad weather, you should not do without a
wind shield
or
flyscreen
. Depending on the height, these protect the body and clothing from wind and weather and usually provide improved aerodynamics.
There are now countless manufacturers of windshields, but one must not be missing in the Vespa sector – PUIG from Spain, who already made it big in the 60s with fairing parts for Vespa.

The Sport Flyscreen from PUIG is the ideal compromise between looks and function and a design classic from the 70s. Riding with a Flyscreen is much more pleasant and comfortable than riding completely without a screen. Due to the modified aerodynamics, the wind is better diverted, no longer hitting the chest directly, and the turbulence on the body is reduced. This offers a much more pleasant riding experience compared to operation without a screen.

Since a flyscreen must also be approved in order to be used legally in road traffic, PUIG also supplies a suitable ABE. The latest version of the ABE can be found on the
manufacturer’s website
. Before purchasing, please check whether the ABE is valid for the desired vehicle.
Mounting instructions
In contrast to the usual flyscreens from various manufacturers, PUIG uses its own mounting option here. The windshields are not mounted via the original mount at the bottom of the handlebar, but via the mirror holes. To do this, the mirrors have to be unscrewed and later refitted to the windshield brackets.
