Even original PIAGGIO kickstart shafts and mechanisms wear out eventually. O-ring seals become porous, kick-starter return springs lose strength and its
buffer rubbers start to tear. These parts must all be checked during every major engine service and replaced as necessary.
The RSP kickstarter cog from DRT is made from a highly solid steel alloy and the cog teeth are precisely machined to exact dimensions. This item suits tuned motors ideally and should also be included when other DRT transmission components are used, especially the DRT gear combination kits.
