If your front
mudguard
is damaged it can no longer fully protect you from rain water and under certain circumstances also become hazardous and unroadworthy. For these reasons and more it requires immediate replacement. Due to the fact that the whole steering column assembly must be removed to fit an original style front mudguard a little mechanical experience is required for successful completion of this job.

While the steering column is removed why not check / replace the forks bearings
The suspension and mudguard fastenings should also be replaced during this job.

Mounting Information:
The models produced from June 2009 include a redesigned steering column (#PIAGGIO No.6484135). In order to combine this mudguard with these models the opening for the steering column requires slight enlargement.
