A total of nine transfer ports included in a cylinder intended for use with the Vespa PX200 could be considered as unusual, to say the least! This courageous initiative has been taken by the plucky people at PINASCO, in the form of this Cylinders for the Vespa P Range. So – If you are looking for an alternative offered by MALOSSI, POLINI, etc. – PINASCO can now also help you boost the power of your largeframe Vespa! This aluminium race cylinder is equipped with an extremely durable bore-lining material, three transfer ports each side and another three boost ports combine to provide an impressive number of channels providing fresh fuel above the piston. It has a 69mm bore diameter and is conceived for a crankshaft with a 60mm stroke. The cylinder head is precisely manufactured, with eight fixing points and a centralisation positioning shoulder. The central spark plug opening is provided with a long thread. The piston has large port windows corresponding to the transfer ports and a single 1mm piston ring. With a 60% chordal dimensioned exhaust port size and the moderate port timings the PINASCO ‘Race 9TX’ is ideal for torque-based motor set ups. Further modifications can also release lots of extra horsepower! The RR and VTR Models are made for stronger Setups. The VTR variant comes with an intake manifold.
