from scooter club Pacemaker SC Deggendorf has been racing lap after lap at the European Scooter Challenge (ESC) series. During this time, he has tested quite a few exhausts on his MALOSSI T5 sporting the number 92. The tracks which included very short straights such as those found on parking lots or karting tracks showed a clear need for an exhaust that delivers performance in the lower rev range. However, lots of exhaust designs for the T5 are aimed towards higher rev ranges.
As it turned out, the torque-intensive version of the EVO / Performance T5 was one of Marco
s favourite exhausts. Until he found an old battered TAFFSPEED exhaust…
Jim Lomas is now manufacturing an updated replica version of this exhaust under the SERIE PRO label. The exhaust is handmade and comes with a clear varnish just as the APRILIA AF1 racing exhausts. Main stand and wide tire mounting is not possible due to the dimension of the exhaust, that is, unless it is cut to size. But: your spare wheel is still useable. Principal advantage: torque, torque and … guess what … torque. Not only for ESC pilots!
