Rear Frame rear, lower
SPREAD THE LOVE
Description
length 180mm
Product description
Regrettably most vintage Vespa models have some sort of rust damage, especially towards the rear of the frame. In former times these ugly rusted holes were extremely time and money intensive to repair properly. Nowadays we have various premium quality sheet-metal frame repair parts available for the Vespa wideframe models produced between 1948 & 1957. They differ mainly in their overall length, or how far the rear frame section extends towards the fuel tank. The range begins for the Vespa 125 V1-15T with its short 180 mm frame, through to the complete rear frame section with a crease allowing direct welding to the footboards.
Notice
:We also have all the floorboards and
many other types of replacement body and frame panels!
Conclusion
: This at last enables the complete (and original) restoration of the beautiful wideframe models to their full former glory!
Robert Steininger, Vintage Vespa icon, Vienna, Austria:
Sandro Carlucci. Sandro is an extremely dedicated Vespa mechanic and specialised his expertise many years ago with the production of sheet metal replacement frame parts for his beloved make of Italian scooter. The footboards and frame creases, etc. are completely 100% identical to the original factory dimensions and stand head and shoulders in manufacturing quality above the items available from the far-east of Asia. Every single occasion I have required a particular frame part for any Vespa restoration project I have always been helped by Sandro. In my personal opinion the frame parts he produces are absolutely peerless in their quality.
