If you wish to replace the selector box during the service of your motor do not forget the relevant peripheral items. More often than not precision is in the detail, when the connecting pin is worn it becomes more difficult to change gear, if the selector arm itself is worn, gears will jump.
Over time, the gear shift arm on your motor can become damaged or wear. This leads to vague gear positioning and also jumping gears. For this reason, DRT produce a reinforced version of this essential component. This ensures that the gear selected remains firmly in place!
