Drive bush for the Lambretta drive cog from CASA PERFORMANCE. A noticeably more robust solution for the primary drive and transmission damper components of the drive train on tuned Lambretta engines.
CASA PERFORMANCE have earned themselves an excellent reputation on the international Lambretta restoration scene. If the aim of your project was a 100% factory look restoration and your finances allowed, you would not be at all disappointed by the Rimini based specialists. Their drive bush can, according to firm philosophy, also satisfy the demands of a tuned engine as well as those of standard types.

Integrated removal feature
Specification:
The original drive bush layout uses the original items cogged interior circumference to be placed over the matching cogged end of the crankshaft. This is then followed by the drive cog and the cam separator disc, the damper spring and finally its positioning disc. This whole assembly is not only then intended to be held together by a single M 8 bolt, but this bolt is also responsible for the attachment of this merry ensemble to the crankshaft! This optimistic set up may be sufficient to withstand the power produced by standard and mildly tuned engines. Higher performing set ups also expect this minimal attachment solution to be able to endure the enormous peaks in strain and load created during hard deceleration and gear changes over the profile of the overworked damper. They often fail in this duty, with the bolts stretching and/or snapping – leading to expensive repairs being necessary or even a new engine!
The CASA PERFORMANCE solution:
This CASA PERFORMANCE drive bush meets and defeats the challenge by being equipped with a much shorter and sturdier crankshaft attachment bolt. The load capacity is now dealt with by a massive M18 bolt, compared to the original M8! These bolts are arranged to also function as a removal mechanism when combined. As with all CASA PERFORMANCE parts, 100% guaranteed made in Italy!
Available as versions for either the CASA PERFORMANCE or the original Lambretta engine casings.
