Product description
The shock absorber is the central element of the chassis and a safety-relevant component. If it is either defective or if a shock absorber is used that does not correspond with the way of riding, this can lead to nasty surprises. Shock absorbers that are too soft can break easily or give you the fright of your life in curves or at high speeds.
A brand new shock absorber isn’t always necessary. If the shocks are still working perfectly well, replacing the shock absorber springs (that gradually wear out over the years) is sufficient. We stock springs for steering columns (for separate spring/shock systems) and for the original shock absorbers.
The standard PIAGGIO springs and other manufactures are equivalent to those that were originally fitted.
The Sport springs arestiffer and are suitable forriding with a pillion, touring or tuned scooters. The springs are somewhere between the STO and the Standard springs. The STO springs are an especially good supplement to wide or largeframe models.
The springs are mostly phosphated, zinc plated, painted or chrome-plated.
Conclusion:
Improves the suspension of the Sport version and is also easy on the wallet.
