Product description
The kickstarter mechanism represents the Achilles heel of the Vespa wideframe models and deserves extra special attention during every service or overhaul of the vintage divas engine. Nothing is more annoying once you have completed a total wideframe engine overhaul with an extensive financial investment and the first attempt at starting results in the kickstarter failing to engage properly. You know in that moment of frustration that you will once again have to split the engine casings to access and (hopefully) repair the offending mechanism! For those that wish to avoid this recurring phenomena and wish to fit the finest quality components when overhauling their wideframe engines we have had completely new kickstarter return-springs manufactured. These items not only fulfil the requirements and standards of the originals, they surpass them easily! At first glance it is quickly obvious that these return-springs are more solidly designed when it comes to strength, endurance and corrosion protection than all other types that are currently available for these kickstarter mechanisms.
We have these springs made in small production runs by an established German spring manufacturer, 100% Made in Germany!
